Council
This page contains background and updates on the transition
from the unified Church Board to our new Church Council and news
of the work of the Church Council and the Committees.
Introduction
Since 2003, Camrose United Church has been in the
process of implementing a change in our structure and
process of church governance. The changes include the
development of more thorough communication of the work of
our Church Council and the Committees with each other and
to the Congregation. Hence this page on our website, which
will initially be used to keep people up to date on the
transition itself and to provide the information needed in
order for everyone to develop a clear understanding of the
new structure.
Visioning
The establishment of the Church Council is a major step
in the process of establishing visioning as a permanent,
on-going part of the life of the congregation.
The history of our visioning process.
Monthly Information
The Monthly Information sheets are intended to be
a way for those who wish to keep aware of the work of the
committees and the Board. See the 2003 May issue for more
information about their purpose. They are available now on
this website in PDF format.
They are also available on paper: the current issue in
the narthex and past issues through the church office.
